latest update: 2011-11-11

Project Follow Up

The Project Follow Up has been moved to the project WIKI on the sourceforge.

Project’s Intermediate Results

The results of project X are published as .zip file at the address http://sourceforge.net/projects/simulrr/files/.

You can even access the projects SVN repository to get the most freshest software.

But be aware, that the current feature set of the sourceforge project is restricted with respect to the latest full release “step 0032″ on the download area.

Current Statements about Step 0033

  • Step 0033 will not be finished, the project has been stopped
  • The master avatar container will be abandoned (moved to SRR Controller)
  • Dynamic Modules will be supported
  • “Roles” will be abandoned and completely replaced by “Keys”
  • An “SRR Object Base” will exist to ease implementation of SRR Objects
  • A “Beam to meeting place” function will exist
  • The SRR Framework will output status messages occasionally
  • A function will exist to reset all keys
  • There will be changes in the documentation and in the blog (see next chapter)

Changes in Documentation

The concept papers and the lower layer interface descriptions have been replaced by the Concepts’ Descriptions.

The “normal” project is the construction of version v0.01 (in steps: step 0001, step 0002, …..), where step 0100 will be the last step of v0.01.

Now, the step 0033 seems to become a rather big step (will not be finished before summer 2010), so I decided to create an own project page for step 0033, and called it “project X”, j4f.

So, shortly spoken project X = step 0033
