The domain simulrr.wordpress.com deals with the do-it-yourself-virtual-multiplayer-model-railroad, which was under construction.
This is an application of the X3D/VRML technology (especially of the network sensor) – see Web3D Consortium.
However, the project had been stopped, before it reached the alpha release.

The administrator of this blog is the inventor of the SrrTrains concept (Srr = simulated railroad).

SrrTrains is not only a concept, but it is accompanied by two projects and two (unfinished) products (according to our current knowledge).

The sourceforge project http://using-srr.sourceforge.net/ is a project of a Romanian enthusiast, who likes to test using the SRR Framework (see below) within his community.

The product SRR Framework (unfinished) is the core product within the SrrTrains concept. Both – the product and the concept – were developed within the sourceforge project simulrr (http://sourceforge.net/projects/simulrr).

When founding the simulrr sourceforge project, the intention was to develop the SRR Framework with a higher quality and with the help of others.

This blog – the blog of the SrrTrains Core Team – provides a second (unfinished) product, the SRR Tools.

Currently (March 2012) the SrrTrains Core Team has two members:
